Mystic United Youth Soccer

The Mystic United Futbol Club relies exclusively on the help of volunteers. We are constantly in search of additional coaches, referees, team parents and board members.

Where you can help

Without our coaches, there would be no soccer for our children. The most important thing about being a coach is that you enjoy working with children and know how to have fun and play fair. You do not need to know the game to become a coach. MUFC provides coaching clinics to help even the most inexperienced coach get started. Clinics usually take place during our Spring Season ( you may contact us for more info). If you are interested in becoming a coach or have questions, please email our Coaching Coordinator, Santos Ventura.
This is one of the most important positions to help young people understand the game. Training is provided by certified referees and will give you instruction on rules and techniques. On-going help is available upon request. If you are interested in becoming a referee, please email our interim referee coordinator, Carlos Vaquerano.
Team Parents:

The Team Parent helps the coach in many ways by organizing snacks for games, organizing the team for picture day, fundraising, etc. They can also organize an end of the season team party.  Please talk with your child’s coach to volunteer. For further team volunteer information or questions, email our Team Parent Coordinator, Vanessa Tormes.

Board of Directors:
The MUFC Board of Directors is responsible for developing, promoting and administering the game of soccer for our youth in Greater Boston. There are 12 non-paid, volunteer officers who serve a 2 year term and are nominated and elected by the members of MUFC at the Annual General Meeting held in January.  Please contact Daniel Vaquerano for further information.
